The Common was founded in 2017 by Debra Chantry, one of the top business coaches in New Zealand. Debra has over 10 years of business mentoring & coaching experience & has worked with over 500 business owners. In 2013, Debra was ranked as one of the top 6 Business Women in New Zealand by NEXT Magazine.

Debra’s vision is to help 10,000 entrepreneurs every year to achieve their professional & personal goals, creating a life that they love.

She knows that the best way to get that is by not doing it alone. However, she understands that not everyone can afford to have a Business Coach & that people get support & learn in different ways.

So, she decided to create a community where entrepreneurs & business owners can network & support each other, as well as having access to professional Business Coaches & Mentors.  

The Common is all about bringing people together in a business perspective and helping each other. We know that being a business owner can be a lonely journey, however, at The Common, it doesn’t have to be!

Our role is to provide you with a different environment where you can take time out from working IN your business to work ON your business & ON yourself. We will help you achieve your business goals and your personal goals because we believe it is important that you enjoy what you do & create a life that you love. 

Here at The Common, we believe in helping others whether it be bridging connections or having a conversation over a game of darts.  

We believe it is important to take time out from your business to relax, which is why we have a created a “playground” area. The idea of the playground is to not only take a break and have fun, it is about having fun with other entrepreneurs which sparks up your creativity again.
